NASHVILLE PUCKETT’S CELEBRATES ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY |

Restaurant Serves Up Exclusive Daily Specials All Week |

NASHVILLE, TN (October 28, 2011) – One year ago, the country store and restaurant that gained fame in both Leiper’s Fork and Franklin, Tennessee opened their first downtown Nashville location at the corner of 5th and Church Street. Since that time, Puckett’s has become local favorite in the downtown community for locals and has quickly gained notoriety through numerous awards and honors. As a way to say “thank you” to Nashville for contributing to the overwhelming success of its newest location, Puckett’s has planned an entire week of festivities to celebrate. Beginning Tuesday, November 1 and continuing throughout the week, Puckett’s will offer exclusive specials and deals for its valued customers:
The One Year Birthday Bash Show will feature Effusion Entertainment & Friends: Dave Berg, Stephony Smith, Greg Bates, Aaron Scherz, Laura Veltz with special guests Derek George, Dave Turnbull & Wynn Varble. The show starts at 7pm and includes free valet. And the festivities don’t end there. Courtesy of Hap & Harry’s Lynchburg Lager, cover charge for all Saturday night shows in November will be just $5 (and include free valet). The Puckett’s website (www.puckettsgrocery.com/nashville) features the music listings for the month. “We could not be more thrilled with our first year in Downtown Nashville! We love the community and spirit of downtown, and are proud to be a part of something so special that continues to grow every day,” said Puckett’s manager Claire Marshall Crowell. Crowell, who is the daughter of Puckett’s owners Andy and Jan Marshall, has played an integral role in the tremendous success of the newest location. The Nashville Downtown Partnership awarded Puckett’s for Outstanding Business Development in September 2011. Nashville locals voted Puckett’s barbeque as the best in the city at the first annual People’s Choice BBQ Competition in August. In addition, the Nashville Convention and Visitors Bureau recognized Puckett’s as a Music City Brand Champion and most recently, the Nashville restaurant won the Writer’s Choice for Best Comfort Food in the Nashville Scene’s Best of Nashville Poll. |
