PUCKETT'S ANNOUNCES NASHVILLE'S FIRST EVER FOOD TROLLEY
The One-of-A-Kind Food Truck To Be Unveiled in the Coming Weeks

Get Real. Be Mobile.NASHVILLE, TN (February 2, 2012) – Local foodies can now obsess over a new type of food truck – the city’s first ever Food Trolley, which will serve family recipes from Puckett’s Gro. & Restaurant.  The award-winning restaurant is planning a full day of festivities celebrating the new trolley in early March.

Created by owner Andy Marshall, along with the help of managers Max Stephenson and J.T. Ward, the trolley will offer a wide range of delicious made-to-order menu items from breakfast to lunch and dinner. It will cater to Middle Tennessee’s most popular festivals and events, and will also be available to rent for special occasions.

Regular menu items will include Puckett’s famous cherry wood-smoked pork and chicken, burgers, fried catfish, sweet potato fries, baked beans, coleslaw, and assorted cobblers as well as other signature menu items such as the redneck burrito, brisket chimichanga and catfish tacos.  The menu will be customizable for special events.

“We are so excited at Puckett’s to offer a new and distinctive way to bring what we do to local communities around the Middle Tennessee area,” said Marshall.   “We love the idea of the food truck as a venue to extend our brand into catered events, festivals, and special occasions. We wanted something unique…something historic, but with a Puckett’s twist.  What better vehicle than a trolley?”

Marshall found the historic trolley in late 2011 and is currently having it converted to a food service truck, allowing Puckett’s to bring its renowned, mouth-watering menu straight to the public and to cater special events throughout the city.  The restaurant will soon be launching a contest for customers to name the trolley.

Grand opening festivities and first locations for customers will be unveiled in the coming weeks.  Details on its location, as well as for more information on featured specials, will be found on Twitter @PuckettsTrolley and on Facebook, www.facebook.com/puckettstrolley.

About Puckett's Gro. & Restaurant
Founded by the Puckett family in the 1950s, Puckett's has served as a country store to several communities in Williamson County. Andy Marshall bought the Leiper's Fork Puckett's Grocery in 1998. In 2002, Puckett's branched out to start a formal dinner and music program. With all of the talented writers in and around town, the Friday night writers' show grew fast with people coming from all over to hear some of the finest that the industry has to offer in a cool, eclectic environment. Shortly after that, another opportunity opened up to expand Puckett's to Marshall's hometown and first love for community, in Historic Downtown Franklin.

Rob Robinson and his family now own the Leiper's Fork location, while the Marshall family expanded to the Downtown Nashville community in November 2010.
