| Tyler Flowers wins Puckett's Rising Star 6 Winner receives $500 cash from Puckett's and a spot in the winner's round, Tuesday, April 6, 2010 Franklin, TN--03/16/2010--Puckett's Grocery in Franklin, TN selected Tyler Flowers as the grand prize winner of it's popular Rising Star singer-songwriter open mic contest at the final event held on March 16, 2010. Tyler was the unanimous winner, selected by judges Wally Nason, Keith Mohr, Cindy Wilt Colville, and guest artist Greg Barnhill. Tyler, along with finalists Johnathan Hepner, Bill DiLuigi, and Rebecca Correia wowed the crowd with one strong song after the other. Rising Star creator, Keith Mohr states, "We've had quality finals in the previous Rising Stars, but this final was excellent all the way around. All 4 finalists did a great job, and it was difficult to select just one. All 4 have huge potential!" Guest artist judge, Greg Barnhill (writer of "House Of Love"- Amy Grant/Vince Gill, and "Walk Away Joe- Trisha Yearwood adds, "I was blown away by all of the finalists, and I love Puckett's Rising Star!" Former VP of publishing for 13 years, Cindy Wilt Colville also said she was quite impressed with the caliber of talent represented at the event. In addition to the $500 cash prize award, Tyler will be part of a round with a few well known songwriters on Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at 7:00PM.
